What the NSSF does
The Network Slice Selection Function supports the selection of network slice instances and may provide information used to identify suitable AMF sets or candidates.
Selection context
Inputs can include requested slice information, subscription data, serving area, roaming context and network availability.
What it does not do
The NSSF is not the whole slicing system. It supports selection; it does not by itself schedule radio resources, forward user traffic or guarantee an SLA.
