The scarce resource
Radio spectrum is finite and conditions vary by location, mobility, interference and load. A slice cannot repeal physics.
Slice-aware treatment
The RAN can apply admission controls, scheduling priorities, resource policies and QoS mapping that reflect the selected service. Operators may reserve or weight capacity, but implementations differ.
Coverage still matters
A premium slice cannot create signal where no suitable radio coverage exists. Antenna design, spectrum band, cell density and device capability remain fundamental.
