QoS flow
The QoS flow is the finest granularity for QoS forwarding treatment in the 5G System. Traffic mapped to the same QoS flow receives the same forwarding treatment.
5QI
The 5G QoS Identifier references QoS characteristics such as priority, packet delay budget and packet error rate. Standardised and operator-specific 5QI values can be used.
Multiple flows within one slice
A single PDU session and slice can carry several QoS flows. For example, control traffic, video and background telemetry may each require different treatment without becoming separate slices.
