What the NWDAF does
The NWDAF gathers or receives data and produces analytics for authorised consumers. Analytics can concern load, abnormal behaviour, mobility, QoS sustainability and other network conditions.
How analytics support slicing
Slice-aware analytics can help admission, scaling, assurance and policy decisions. They can also reveal whether a service is approaching capacity or failing to meet expected behaviour.
Analytics are not an SLA
Analytics provide evidence and predictions. Contractual guarantees still require defined measurement methods, thresholds and remedies.
