Technical grounding

Standards and industry sources

The training course is written as an explanation, not a substitute for the normative specifications.

3GPP

Core architecture, network-function roles, network slice selection, QoS and service-based interfaces are grounded primarily in the 3GPP 5G System architecture and associated service specifications. The explanatory pages use function-level summaries rather than reproducing normative procedures.

GSMA

Commercial deployment context and operator implementation guidance are checked against GSMA network slicing and 5G Standalone material.

ETSI publications

Publicly available ETSI versions of 3GPP specifications provide the detailed architecture reference for readers who need normative definitions and procedures.

Specifications evolve. Pages that discuss live operator availability should be checked separately against current operator documentation.

Device and access-technology material

RedCap and Ambient IoT explanations are treated as evolving ecosystem material and are checked against current 3GPP technology summaries. Product and operator support is intentionally not inferred from standards capability.
